Songs for Two ChildrenSongs for Two Children
By:  Colin A. Ross, M.D.

Songs For Two Children is a 1000-line poem written in iambic pentameter couplets, addressed to Dr. Ross' two oldest children. In the poem he explains to them his theory of human energy fields and the role of dissociation in western civilization. According to the theory, there could be a science devoted to study of the energy interactions between human beings, and between human beings and the natural world.

The science could involve equations, meters and scans of the brain and nerve centers in the body. It could lead to a psychotherapy for the spiritual emptiness of western civilization. Songs For Two Children communicates both the theory and the experiential base of the new science.
