The Ross Institute Trauma Programs are internationally known for both their intensive programming. Each patient is assigned a therapist who sees the patient 3 times a week for inpatient individual therapy.

Ross Institute programs are based on the Trauma Model of psychopathology and Dr. Ross' Trauma Model Therapy. According to this model, trauma is a major risk factor for many types of mental disorders and needs to be addressed in treatment. Many testable scientific predictions follow from the model, as outlined in Dr. Ross' publications.
